Erytharasma
Bacterial infection caused by Corynebacterium minotissimum. Characteristics include a reddish-brown, slightly scaly patch with sharp edges that occurs in moist areas such as the groin, armpits, and skin folds. Itching may be present.  

Interventions: 
1. Investigation and treatment of the cause of skin irritation. 
2. Gently wash the skin with a cleanser with a normal pH (Zitan Cleansing Foam). 
3.issues to be managed: 
• May be treated with a topical antibacterial. 
• For skin folds and parts of the skin that are in contact with medical equipment: use Zitan cream to eliminate friction, control moisture and bacterial or fungal bioburden.
